Why custom
Mass-market furniture is designed for the average room. Your home isn't average.
Every dimension is yours to specify. No awkward gaps, no furniture too large for the doorway, no compromises on proportion.
Yours is the only piece like it in the world. That is not a selling point — it is the entire point of commissioning furniture.
Natural teak oil, matte, satin, dark walnut — and anything between. You live with it every day, so you decide exactly how it looks.
Six people for Sunday lunch? Work from home? Reading corner? The design starts with how you live, not what is in a catalogue.
50–100 year old wild-grown teak. The furniture will still be here long after the trends have changed and the other pieces are gone.
No call centres. No order numbers. You speak directly with the craftsmen — the people selecting the timber and building your piece.

The process
You approve the design and the timber before a single joint is cut.
Send a message on WhatsApp — a sketch, a photo reference, or just a description in words. Our team responds within 24 hours and asks the right questions so nothing is assumed.
We finalise dimensions, wood grain direction, finish, and joinery. For complex pieces, a technical drawing is shared for your approval before a single plank is touched.
Our timber specialist handpicks planks specifically for your piece — matching grain, width, and oil density. Photographs are shared with you. You approve the wood before we begin.
One senior craftsman owns your commission from start to finish. For significant pieces, progress photos are sent at key stages — joinery, rough shape, and before finishing.
Three to five coats of natural teak oil, sanded between each application. Every piece is personally inspected against every agreed specification before delivery is approved.
Free delivery across South India. In-home placement and assembly for larger pieces. Your 10-year structural warranty certificate is delivered with the furniture.
You are in control at every stage. Nothing proceeds without your explicit approval — timber selection, design drawing, and final inspection all require your sign-off before we move forward.

Nilambur Forest Reserve
Malappuram, Kerala · Home of the world's oldest teak plantation
The wood
The forests of Nilambur have produced some of the world's most sought-after teak for over 180 years. Unlike plantation-farmed timber, Nilambur wild teak grows slowly — 50 to 100 years or more — developing exceptional density, tight grain, and natural oil content that makes it extraordinarily resistant to warping, cracking, and decay.
This is the wood that furnished the great buildings of South India. The same wood that appears, unchanged and unpolished, in furniture made two hundred years ago. We source exclusively from licensed Forest Department auctions. Every commission carries its certificate of origin.

We wanted a dining table that would become the centrepiece of our new villa, and it absolutely has. The Nilambur teak looks beautiful, the finish is flawless, and everyone who visits notices it immediately. The quality honestly exceeded our expectations, especially for the price.

The custom furniture process was much smoother than I expected. I sent a rough sketch on WhatsApp and within a week received a detailed technical drawing with exact dimensions. I was able to measure everything in my room and make sure it would fit perfectly before placing the order. That attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence in the team.

I was skeptical about ordering something this expensive without seeing it in person. What really impressed me was that they sent photos of the actual teak planks selected for my furniture before production started. Being able to see the wood beforehand gave me a lot more confidence in the purchase.
